Inspired By The Fierce And Fearless Spirit Of Rani Lakshmibai, MLBF believes That Every Woman, No Matter Where She Lives, Deserves Access To The Digital World. In Many Parts Of Rural India, However, The Digital Divide Remains Wide. A 2022 Report By GSMA shows That Women In Rural Areas Are 23% Less Likely Than Men To Use Mobile Internet. The Reasons? Lack Of Awareness, Digital Illiteracy, And Socio-cultural Barriers.

This Is Where Digital Naari, Supported By MLBF, Steps In. The Initiative Works With Local Women, Introducing Them To The Basics Of Digital Tools—smartphones, Online Banking, Social Media, E-governance Portals, And Even Digital Marketing. Through Dedicated Training Centres and Mobile Digital Vans Powered By The Foundation, Women Learn Not Just How To Use Technology, But How To Own It.

Take The Story Of Meena Kumari, A 32-year-old Homemaker From A Village Near Jhansi. Before MLBF’s Digital Naari Program Reached Her, She Had Never Touched A Smartphone. Today, She Runs A Small Home-based Business Selling Handmade Crafts Via WhatsApp and Instagram, And Even Teaches Other Women In Her Village How To Go Online. “I didn’t Know What The Internet was,” She Says, “but now I Use It To Earn, Learn, And Connect.”

Mlbf Ensures The Movement Goes Beyond Just Devices—it Focuses On Real Digital Empowerment. Workshops On Cyber Safety, Digital Rights, And Online Entrepreneurship Give Women The Tools To Participate Fully In India’s Growing Digital Economy.
