School Chalo Abhiyan: Empowering Dreams With Maharani Lakshmibai Foundation

The School Chalo Abhiyan Is More Than Just A Campaign—it's A Movement Of Hope, Change, And Empowerment. The Maharani Lakshmibai Foundation (Mlbf), Rooted In Jhansi's Rich Legacy Of Courage And Resilience, Has Been Playing A Vital Role In This Noble Mission To Ensure Every Child, Especially Girls From Marginalized Communities, Steps Into A Classroom Instead Of A Life Of Limitation.

Launched To Align With The National Mission Of Universal Education, MLBF’s Involvement In School Chalo Abhiyan Focuses On Identifying School Dropouts, Encouraging Girl Child Education, And Supporting Underprivileged Families With Educational Kits, Uniforms, And Awareness Drives. The Foundation Organises Interactive Sessions With Parents And Children, Especially In Rural And Semi-urban Areas, To Address The Barriers Like Poverty, Early Marriage, And Lack Of Transport That Often Prevent Education.

In 2024 Alone, MLBF reached over 3,500 Children In The Bundelkhand Region, Helping Nearly 800 Girls Return To School. With Community Volunteers and Teachers, They Initiated Door-to-door Campaigns And Hosted “Back to School” Rallies That Inspired Many Local Villages To Actively Support Education for all.

The Foundation Also Supports Digital Learning Initiatives Through Its Digital Naari Program, Equipping Young Girls With Basic Tech Skills To Prepare Them For A Modern World.
