In A World Increasingly Driven By Technology, The Rapid Consumption Of Electronic Devices Has Given Rise To A Growing Environmental Concern—electronic Waste (E-waste). To Tackle This Pressing Issue, The Maharani Lakshmibai Foundation (MLBF) Recently Organised a Successful E-waste Collection Camp In Jhansi, Promoting Sustainability And Community Awareness.

Held In Collaboration With Local Schools, Colleges, And Residential Societies, The Camp Aimed To Educate Citizens About The Dangers Of Improper E-waste Disposal. Items Like Broken Chargers, Old Mobile Phones, Batteries, And Unused Gadgets Were Collected In Large Numbers. More Than 1,200 Kg Of E-waste Was Safely Gathered And Sent For Authorized Recycling, Preventing Harmful Materials Like Lead And Mercury From Entering The Soil And Water.

Volunteers, Students, And Eco-conscious Citizens Participated Enthusiastically, Highlighting How Small Individual Actions Can Lead To Significant Environmental Impact. “This Initiative Is Not Just About Collection,” Said A Foundation Representative, “but About Creating A Mindset Shift Towards Responsible Tech Use And Disposal.”
